It manufactures a wide range of engines and heavy machinery for the Indian market. In recent years, It has extended its activities internationally. The Company exports several of its products to various countries. The Company's core competencies are in Diesel/Petrol engines, Gensets, Agro Equipment and Construction Equipment. In diesel engines alone the company now manufactures approximately half a million engines a year. It has 10 Manufacturing Units located all over India, two overseas offices in the U.K. and China, and one subsidiary company in Germany. The Company’s manufacturing plants are equipped with state of the art production facilities, backed by in-house R&D. An extensive sales and service network manned by highly skilled and dedicated workforce keeps it in touch with its customers. Each employing 250 to 300 people.Responsibilities:-This heading HR for either Industrial Equipment or Auxilliary Power division , reporting directly to EVP HR and supporting CEO of respective Division Accent would on hard core HR activities . Though IR would report to this position and will require working with unions but personal involvement would be more on HR . Position is reported by 2-3 persons Focus of the role would be :1 Talent Acquisition 2. Talent Development 3. Adapting and running assessment center 4. Identifying training needs and inducting skills 5. Supporting Corporate in OD and MDP excericise for Auto Division 6. Normalisation The Person:- An aqualified HR Professional with age 32 to 48 years. Male or Femane ,Very Progressive thinker and pragmatic mind. Passionate about being a change agent and patient enough to set the foundation right. Previous exposure in manufacturing definitely a plus but not essential but willing to work in manufacturing environment . IR experience not must but aptitude and maturity to handle should be there.
