"BILL RATE RATE INFO W00142 ROLE DESC ***This job req is subject to overtime discounts (0.95x exempt; 1.35x non-exempt) and a 10% discount after six months of service*** UDPATE (4/2): Rate has increased. Manager now accepting H1-B/GC candidates. NOTE: 50% travel, but that is after 9-10 months of work on site in Albany Requirements: Minimum 7 years of senior level experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Minimum 3 years experience with organizational transformation in aligning Business with IT Knowledge of enterprise SOA and experience with large and complex IT systems Minimum 3 years experience with Business Process Management software preferably Progress Savvion Good oral and written communication skills Must be able to effectively communicate with technical architects and C-Level executives. Minimum 3 years of SOA Software experience: o Repository Manager – Development Governance o Service Manager – Operational Governance o Portfolio Manager – Planning Governance o Policy Manager – Policy Governance Service lifecycle management – experience managing services through the full cycle from initial capability inventory through service design, development, deployment and retirement Service portfolio management – going beyond just managing a stable of services – actively engaging the community of potential consumers in order to promote and reward reuse Centralized policy enforcement – experience formulating, specifying, documenting and applying policy in a SOA environment Documentation – creation, review and maintenance of documents including Service Interaction Profiles, Service Descriptions, reference architectures, backplane component requirements, field guides for providers and consumers. SKILLS Minimum 5 years of experience in current Web Service design, development, testing and deployment. Minimum 5 years of experience with: • Enterprise Service Bus (ESBs) • Web and JEE Application Servers (e.g. JBoss, Web Sphere and Web Logic) • Load balancers (e.g. Apache HTTP Server), application delivery controllers (e.g. F5 BIGIP) Working knowledge of enterprise SOA concepts, standards, protocols and technologies including: • Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) – knowledge of the EIP catalog • All OASIS, The OpenGroup, and WS-* Web Service Standards as they relate to SOA • Web services related elements and protocols including SOAP, REST, WSDL, UDDI, JMS • XML and related technologies including XSLT, XPath, XSD • Standards and technologies related to security and identity management, e.g. LDAP, SAML, XACML, WS-Federation, WS-Trust, single sign-on (SSO), HIPPA and PCI • Java and J2EE IT Jobs in US for Canadian passport holders.
