Additionally lead the effort to implement data modeling standards across projects. Architect data modeling solutions for MCS projects. Analyze Business Requirements, design logical data models and systems functions and present to business/stake holders Coordination and interacting with technical and business groups within the department. Mentor staff, direct and document application design strategies. Perform related duties and participate in special projects as required. Experience/Abilities: (Detail years of work experience required and any specific skills, special aptitudes or knowledge Hand-on Data modeler/ data architect with 8+ years of industry experience designing dimensional data models and financial data warehouse products using industry standard tools such as Embarcadero (preferred) and Erwin. Data warehouse concepts and strong Dimensional Data modeling experience is required. Exposure to Informatica ETL or Business Intelligence tools is preferred. Experience with writing ETL Mapping spec is required. Experience in modeling Commercial Lending products such as loans and guarantees, market products such as Derivatives and Fixed Income Securities is highly desirable. Must have experience in technical development tools such asSQL,MSproject, Excel, power point and Visio. Excellent verbal communication skills. Experience in the financial industry and applying SDLC concepts. Excellent mentoring skills Education: (Minimum educational requirements, professional qualifications and specific training) Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and 8 years of IT experience IT Jobs in US for (US & Canadian passport holders only).
