"For European Residents: An International leading firm URGENTLY requires for the UK Head of Global Telesales Reporting to: Director of Global Business Development Purpose of the Job: To support the global telesales organisation to increase its’ sales effectiveness. In particular, the role will support the global telesales teams by, for example, developing initial telesales programmes, preparing training interventions and ensuring that telesales campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are achieved. Key responsibilities: 1. To support the global telesales organisation in its drive to achieve annual targets both in terms of subscriptions and financials, in relation to Supplier Management System (SMS) renewals, SMS new subscriptions and Total Supplier Management System (TSMS) business and Audit growth. 2. Work with regional telesales managers to ensure that they and their teams have the understanding, practical skills and motivation to achieve their telesales orientated KPI's. 3. Support the development and delivery of telesales training and development programmes based to deliver against the Company’s customer needs; develop and deliver an effective telesales induction programme, assessing its success against pre defined KPIs 4. Helping regional telesales managers and team members to solve problems which are blocking their effectiveness and to identify opportunities to improve telesales efficiency and processes within the organization; encourage a culture of ongoing improvement across the telesales organisation. 5. Produce telesales statistics and reports which support decision-making processes designed to monitor and improve performance amongst the global telesales teams. 6. Liaise with the operations team and account managers as appropriate to ensure that the telesales teams are supporting the achievement of sales targets. 7. Work effectively within a team structure comprising sales, telesales, service delivery, product operations and product / service development.   Knowledge and previous experience: • A successful track record within a telesales environment with previous experience of managing a telesales team. • Demonstrable experience in successfully implementing major strategic improvement projects inside telesales team. • Ideally some experience in training, especially within a telesales environment. • IT literate with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience. • Language skills – English, Spanish and Portuguese • A good understanding of contact centre industry computer systems as used by outbound sales agents. Essential skills: • Strong managerial skills • Proven ability to build businesses • Good PC skills, including MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint etc...). • Excellent administrative and organisational skills. • Excellent telephone skills. • Excellent communication skills. Person specification: • Ability to set clear objectives and monitor achievement. • Confident and professional manner when calling suppliers / customers. • Accuracy and attention to detail. • A positive, proactive and supportive personal approach. • A proven team player capable of delivering to high customer expectations. • Ability to shape and develop views and initiatives. • Focused on quality and delivery within a customer service, commercially aware environment. • Able to quickly build a credible reputation and network across the Company’s regions. • Ability to work under pressure; think clearly and act decisively. Additional information: This post will require regular international travel.
