"This is a unique opportunity for someone who has a great blend of experience within their retail career to include: Executive Leadership, IT Infrastructure Management to include Web Portals and e-commerce, Buying, Business Development, Merchandising, Negotiation and Relationship Building as well as Financial Retail Accounting, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING AS OUR CLIENT HAS SPECIFICALLY INDICATED WHAT THEY WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN THIS INDIVUDUAL This position will oversee sales, profit and product development on a $100 million services business. This includes providing the IT infrastructure, processes and delivery of services for 900 dedicated technical service center locations. This position is ultimately responsible for driving sales and profit improvements while driving cost improvements throughout the enterprise as part of a leadership role within the services area to include technical services, extended warranties and gift card promotions and bringing in and capitalizing and monetizing new ancillary services. Also, this position is responsible for all aspects of strategic plan development, profit and loss management, IT infrastructure development and management, operational process definition and management, field education, brand development, and assist field implementation planning and deployment. Continue to build a deep understanding in the services arena to foster new businesses and opportunities for unique growth and differentiation in each channel. Please send resumes to our Client Account Manager - Jenn@weplacepeople.com Responsibilities • Develop and implement strategies to increase the financial performance of Technical Service Centers, Extended Warranty and the Gift Card promotions within a leading retail organization • Utilize internal and external data sources to analyze and develop service channels opportunities, which fit into the overall strategic direction. • Define assortment of services offered and develop marketing and pricing strategies for each service to meet sales and margin plans and objectives. • Oversee the development of any IT infrastructure needed to support services or new businesses created and manage the ongoing IT operations of foundational infrastructure. • Lead the development of new strategic initiatives to support the growth of company sales and profitability by remaining current on industry trends. • Manage all aspects of vendor relationships, including strategy, financial programs, promotions, and product assortments. Negotiate modifications to current vendor contracts and provisions of new contracts. • Develop and foster the services brand strategy based on the company initiatives and public representation. • Develop and manage direct report(s) by providing appropriate training, mentoring, and goal setting. Assess direct reports and provide clear career development plans • Develop and lead capital expenditure requests forms in order to grow key businesses. Ultimately responsible for the success or failure of services versus the established financial plans. Minimum Qualifications • Minimum 10 years general business experience, including 5 years of experience in retail services category management and or business development. • This position requires knowledge of merchandising and services business development, as well as quantitative methods. • Computer proficiency in spreadsheet software and word processing, and strong writing and verbal skills to prepare reports and presentations. • Strong working knowledge of IT related project management, insurance (Extended Warranty) regulations/processes and general retail accounting • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Database Management, SQL, Web Methods (communications), HTML scripting, Website development (Coding is a plus but not required)"
