"Hiring a MFG/ Process Engineer(Facilities, Utilities, & Equipment Engineer )-172 in Lancaster, PA MFG/ Process Engineer(Facilities, Utilities, & Equipment Engineer )-Lancaster ,PA 172 Contract position-24 months Send resumes to: bciociola@covexllc.com Job Description/Major Responsibilities: The Facilities, Utilities, & Equipment Engineer will primarily be responsible for incorporating robust and sustainable facility custodial maintenance solutions (Plant infrastructure cleaning & sanitization) that will improve the compliance profile at the Lancaster site. This individual will evaluate the current custodial processes (cleaning chemicals and procedures) and optimize them accordingly. This role may include preparing capital and expense budgets for custodial related projects that are aimed at consent decree remediation. The individual will manage facility related custodial projects (Infrastructure changes to improve clean-ability etc.) from the cradle to the grave which includes preparing scopes of work, leading project design teams, interfacing with internal customers to develop conceptual plans/designs and user requirements, construction management, implementation (including commissioning and partnering with site business leaders in identifying key custodial and housekeeping requirements). The individual will work closely with our site cleaning crew throughout the consent decree remediation process. Good documentation and communication skills are required for this role. The Facilities, Utilities, & Equipment Engineer will ensure projects meet all critical-to-quality commitments in the areas of quality, Consent Decree schedule, and cost. This individual will interface with plant maintenance & engineering associates on projects requiring coordination with manufacturing and in many cases assume the role of site technical lead. The Facilities, Utilities, & Equipment Engineer will ensure compliance with EH&S, OSHA, FDA and any other regulatory agencies, to include building codes. Education: A Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline is required. At least 5 years of experience in facilities engineering in a GMP environment with proven familiarity with equipment and facility cleaning and sanitization is required. Experience/Technical Competencies: The candidate must be a driven, goal oriented, technical person with excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills. The candidate will have the ability to influence and constructively challenge cross-functional technical project teams while partnering with business leaders to achieve project goals is required. The candidate must have a proven track record of meeting project objectives by successfully planning, tracking and executing validation projects with respect to scope, quality, time and cost. The candidate must be able to successfully execute several projects concurrently. Job Knowledge/Skillsets: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Software required.
