"We are looking for European Software Engineers with more than six years of specific expertise on SharePoint and .NET to work in Luxembourg for a multinational consulting firm in several projects at the European Commission. Fluent English and/or French is mandatory 1. DESCRIPTION OF TASKS The tasks will imply the provision of technical assistance to the Corporate Portal development team. The work will include the following activities: Provide technological advice in the context of technical architecture upgrades and extensions of the CP platform, based on Microsoft SharePoint. Assist the CP project team in defining the architectural requirements for the implementation and maintenance of the CP infrastructure. Provide high level technological assistance related to the integration of the CP solutions in the EC's IT infrastructure. Provide high level technical advice to organise the migration and integration of sites and IT services into the CP platform. Assist the CP team in defining and developing the technical services provided through and around the Corporate Portal / My IntraComm platforms. Provide expert advice on Identity and Access Management solutions and infrastructures. 2. EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE REQUESTED The work will be done in the premises of the European Commission in Luxembourg, with occasional visits to Brussels. The technical environment will be that of the Corporate Portal, which requires: Specific expertise in versions 2007 and 2010 of the Microsoft SharePoint solutions: 5+ years of consecutive experience, Microsoft Office SharePoint Certified (Configuration and Application Development). Excellent knowledge of .NET technologies (6+ years, Microsoft .NET certification preferred). Extensive knowledge of component-based and service oriented applications development. Extensive experience in solution integration, particularly in the context of collaboration solutions. Excellent knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols and tools (SAML, WS-*, LDAP, CAS, AD, ADFS). Advanced understanding of network topologies and security principles. English and/or French (spoken) and good technical writing skills in English and/or French. Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (English and French spoken), good communication skills. Ability to work in an international multi-cultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in team working.
