Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: I'm looking for an IT Program Manager/Service Delivery Manager in Dallas, TX - please send resumes to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com Dan Wienczkowski posted a job: I'm looking for an IT Program Manager/Service Delivery Manager in Dallas, TX - please send resumes to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com "Group Manager-Production Support and Release Management Location: TX, Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Description: - Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the entire IT application portfolio of production systems along with responsibility for the Release Management function that manages and controls the application migrations from development, QA, and ultimately to Supermedia's production environments. - Ensure the health and availability for the day-to-day operation of the entire IT application portfolio of production systems. - Provide leadership and management of onsite and offshore outsourcing partner resources along with coordination of Supermedia development resources as needed. - Act as a liaison to business clients communicating status and providing periodic updates on all high severity IRs and issues impacting the business. Provide guidance on IT common process and procedures. - Provide support for IT's Transformation Initiatives by continuously looking for process improvement opportunities and subsequently working to formulate, communicate, and implement new and updated common practices and methods. - Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the entire IT application portfolio of production systems, which includes providing leadership and management of onsite and offshore outsourcing partner resources (70+). - Facilitates performance measurement tracking of weekly Production Support metric reports with outsourcing partner Delivery Leads for communication to IT Leadership and Development Managers. - Ensures first response "triage", analysis, and resolution of incident report tickets submitted by internal Supermedia stakeholders, external search/content partners, and support organizations within agreed upon service level agreements (SLA). - Provides supervision of the Release Management team, which is responsible for the scheduling, coordination, control, and communication of all software migrations from development to production. - Provides supervision of the Environment team that builds, maintains, and coordinates data refresh activities across all IT software environments including QA, training, and production. Metrics, measurements, monitoring, and reporting are fundamental to all areas of the Production Support organization - Communicates routinely with Supermedia Client Organizations - Provides process expertise to help client organization navigate IT processes - Monitors and communicates IR Defect and Work Request status to Client organizations - Ensures client priorities are known and your problems are addressed in a timely manner Requirements - Knowledge of IT's Application and Architecture -- Print Publishing, Digital Products, BIS, Client Portal. - Requires a range of skills within a professional discipline including familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices. - Knowledge of industry leading software development life cycle methodologies including, but not limited to waterfall and agile development. - Understands the applicable technology solution set in order to help lead a successful implementation. - Ability to collaborate, manage, and communicate with the Production Support Delivery Teams, IT Development Teams, Leadership, and Clients in multiple distributed locations across varying time zones. - Bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience. - Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in software design and programming. - Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in leading and directing the work of others. - Minimum 1-3 years working with offshore vendors. * There is no relocation with this position.
