This position provides an opportunity to work in a small team on mission critical technology. Two industry standard printer datastreams are at the heart of the assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining transform code related to Postscript and PDF. Additional responsibilities include design, code, and unit test as well as executing and automation of the Certification process. It will also include the creation of a new mechanism by which Certifications can be executed, analyzed and reported with very little human intervention. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for the creating of new transform technologies in the PostScript and PDF arena. The successful candidate will develop skills and knowledge in and around Advanced Function Printing and Postscript/PDF technologies, as well as learn how client Solutions uses Postscript/PDF technologies across its product line. This position provides a broad cross-sectional perspective of all major programs. Required Skills: The candidate should be detail-oriented, professional, and have good analytical and problem-solving skills. Should have unix and MS-DOS shell script knowledge and have C/C++ programming experience. Ideally the candidate would have some PostScript or PDF exposure. Preferred Skills: Preferably the candidate has a good understanding of Unix shell coding. And experience working in an Agile environment.
