Company serves network equipment manufacturers, service providers, enterprises, and government agencies using their test and simulation platforms to design and validate a broad range of wired, Wi-Fi, and 3G/4G networking equipment and networks.   Job Opportunity: A Product Manager is responsible for providing technical and tactical support to the sales organization and for developing company’s L4-7 business, with focus on network assessment solutions in partnership with other members of the product management team. Product Manager will be the product champion for the internal team and the customer champion for the sales team as such the candidate will need to be able to forge strong working relationships with customers, sales, engineering and support.   Responsibilities: - Assessing the customer requirements and participating in forming product requirements to address the customer needs - Support business through speaking engagements on public tradeshows and forums. - Support customers and SEs with product evaluations, strategic bake-offs and provide pre-sales support as needed - Deliver in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers and sales personnel - Help the Product Management team in guiding the product direction and managing customer priorities and trade-offs - Develop application notes, white papers, technical briefs and product videos that will help elevate the product knowledge among SEs and customers - Assist the PM team with competitive analysis and technology assessment   Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science or engineering background - A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the Data Networking, Telecommunications, or Test & Measurements industry in a technical capacity - Solid knowledge and understanding of Networking and Security markets and concepts - Prior role as Product Manager of at least 1 networking product - In-depth understanding of application technologies, network principles and protocols including IP routing, Application Delivery (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, P2P). 2 to 4 years of networking industry experience demonstrating working knowledge of the above technologies is desirable. - Knowledge of network security (IPsec VPN, IDS/IPS, Gateway Antivirus, DDoS, protocol & applications fuzzing) highly desired and video and VoIP protocols is a plus. - Must be able to build relationships within internal development/PM organization, sales and customers - Prior experience in successful execution of technology and channel partnerships - Strong understanding of the product process and a willingness to learn - Must be able to quickly adapt to a quickly changing competitive landscape and field sales requirements. - Regional travel as needed for training and business meetings, custo... http://bull.hn/l/VZ93/3"
