The ability to capture the right information, at the right time, and act on it pre-emptively for a competitive advantage. More than 4,000 customers worldwide rely on our client to manage information, decisions, processes, people, and data in real time. Due to recent expansion, they are currently looking to hire a number Application Consultants / Developers for the China offices. Key Responsibilities: Participate in development, testing and implementation of applications / systems Assist in certain analytical/design tasks Prepare test scripts and data, and participate in system test Provide UAT support Prepare program documentations, e.g. program specifications, test document Carry out post implementation maintenance to update, repair, modify and expand existing programs Required Experience/Skills: Degree holder in Computer Science, or related disciplines Minimum 2 years software development experience Strong passion in systems development, finance, mobile and software technology Experience in Java, database application design and development Knowledge in multi-threaded application design and development, messaging and event processing Proficient in Java, JSP, and ideally messaging and middleware (WebSphere, Tibco, Oracle Fusion would be great) Experience with SOA, ESB, BPM would be advantageous. FIX connectivity and implementation experience is definitely a plus Experience working with vendors is an advantage Preferred from IT vendor environment Some travel required.
