"This well-known global agency is currently looking for someone to join their Healthcare team in Shanghai. In terms of the main work, this agency is particularly renowned for its brand & communications research, so this will be one of the main areas of engagement with clients. Overall Responsibility: You will be responsible for implementing robust and systematic research solutions to positively impact the client’s business in terms of strategic direction, brand course correction, improving communications and campaign course corrections. Using proprietary techniques and ad hoc solutions, the candidate will possess both hard skills and soft skills that will enable them to play the role of trusted advisor with confidence and gravitas, at a national and global level. Primary responsibilities of the Director include: • Maintenance of a healthy and profitable client relationship • New business development within the client relationship • Overall management and growth of a research team • Financial health of team budget • Participation in the management team Priority outcomes expected from the position: • Maintenance of a trusted advisor style relationship with the client • Establishing the agency as client supplier of choice • Integration with the agency’s global client servicing team • Ability in both Mandarin and English is a must Future career opportunities: Following a period of sustained achievement of the priority outcomes and succession of the position, future career opportunities include vertical practice leadership across the region and other senior opportunities outside Greater China.
