It is essential for candidates to currently hold OR be eligible to pass BPSS (Basic Check) and SC level security clearance checks so to gain access to Government projects. The Cisco IP Network Implementation / Deployment / Provisioning / Migration Engineer is accountable for the remote configuration of IP protocols including EIGRP, OSPF and BGP on customer solutions over the network infrastructure including the ATM, Ethernet, IP-VPN & MPLS Wide Area Network encompassing a broad range of product & services for Data, Video & Connectivity solutions. Candidates will be considered from a range of backgrounds from recent graduates through to CCNA certified network engineers. Candidates will be highly desirable if their background consists of being an engineer with Cisco IP config & provisioning deployment skills and experience within a network implementation or support role for a major IT Provider, Corporate, System Integrator, Service Provider, Technology, Telecom, Carrier, Internet, ISP, hosting or other similar organisation. Technical acumen across Cisco routing protocols & IP networking technologies to include Cisco router and switch configuration, including dynamic routing (BGP, RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP), IP/VPN, MPLS, TCP/IP etc. is ideal. Working in the capacity of IP Data Engineer for this highly respected brand as part of the Customer Solution Delivery team, the position is available on a rolling contract basis. A broad understanding of a range of technologies including ATM, Frame Relay, SDH, ADSL, Ethernet, Leased Lines is also desirable. Formal accreditation in CCNA is ideal however candidates that wish to obtain this certification may be offered sponsorship to obtain the certificate through the contract duration.
