They have achieved an impressive market share to date and continue to grow through offering innovative solutions to their customers. A new and exciting opportunity now exists for a talented Telco corporate lawyer to join their Dubai team. This role requires the holder to have a high degree of corporate experience coupled with commercial acumen and a solid understanding of what it takes to work as part of a fast paced dynamic business. The role holder will be responsible for overseeing corporate matters across the company, whilst managing relationships with external legal counsel and will report into the VP of Legal. You will be required to handle the following – • Advise on corporate matters • Handle M&A, JV and other corporate matters • Manage resolution of any disputes arising • Mentor / manage junior counsel • Manage external counsel You must be / possess - • A qualified lawyer (circa 3-8 PQE) with existing in-house experience of corporate law matters in the Middle East • Possess training from a recognised private practice coupled with pre-existing in-house experience being a distinct advantage • Possess business fluent English. Arabic is an advantage but not essential • Extensive experience of Middle Eastern business practices • Proven track record in building successful business relationships This company offers a competitive package and exciting professional development prospects.
