The Role: The successful candidate will be helping the Recruitment Manager to carry out various administrative tasks, including maintaining and adding to a database of In-Market Creatives (Freelance Copywriters and Translators) as well as making sure all freelancers are fully qualified and documented. The role will require a certain amount of telephone interviewing and will require you to be able to contact prospective freelancers about working for World Writers. You will need to be able to communicate with individuals who are not native English speakers. Requirements for the role: • Adhering to strict criteria for screening candidates before uploading them on the database. • Able to work under pressure. • An enthusiastic team player. • A hard worker (we are often extremely busy). • Diplomatic and calm under pressure. • Flexible and reliable. • Able to exercise tact and cultural sensitivity when required. • To aid in editing profiles of suppliers with short notice. • To assist in maintaining the database. • To engage with the team and be able to understand the exact requirements for the accounts in order to find the talent needed. Requirements for the candidate: • The successful candidate will have a university degree. • Geographically aware and interested in international affairs. • Good communication skills (both written and verbal). • Good attention to detail and accuracy. • Fluency in English is a must, ideally with knowledge of another foreign language but this is not mandatory. • Proficient with Microsoft Office. • Social media savvy (Facebook, Blogs etc) capable of finding alternative ways to source talent to aid the Recruitment Manager.
