"Our client is a global Oil and Gas company covering many aspects of the oil and gas chain. Employing tens of thousands of people around the world, this company generates over $30Billion a year in revenues. To support global growth, a new and exciting senior position is now available for the right candidate. This role will oversee matters pertaining to their global commercial fuel supply division, be involved with big-ticket national and international projects and ensure industry regulations are adhered to via business process compliance. The role will encompass a broad, business critical remit therefore it is essential the holder has the necessary experience, credibility and commercial acumen, and MUST meet the following criteria - • A US qualified lawyer with between 7 – 11 years experience* eligible to work in the U.S. • A combination of reputable law firm AND large organisation experience • Excellent academic record • Management of a multi-national remit overseeing and involved with multiple big ticket projects across the retail, contract, bulk, domestic and international markets • Experience of commercial fuel sales to the transportation / land / consumer markets is highly desirable • Provision of advice and guidance to the regulatory team on compliance matters, working with relevant teams to maintain existing and structure new regulatory procedural guidelines - company-wide • Experience of finance services for commercial fuel supply is desirable together with relevant regulatory experience • Experience of dispute resolution and management of external counsel • The role holder should have extensive risk management experience gained within the Oil & Gas industry • Applicants must have a demonstrable track record of excelling within a fast-paced, demanding environment If you have the necessary skills and experience detailed above and are ready to take your next career step with a growing, global organisation – please forward your details for review to Chris Steindorff at chris.steindorff@mckenziedouglas.co.uk *McKenzie Douglas reviews ALL applications on merit McKenzie Douglas – Specialist In House Legal Recruiters both nationally and internationally, find out more about more at: www.mckenziedouglas.co.uk"
