It is a partner of Michael Bailey Associates in Europe and has 14 offices located across Europe. We are currently searching for an AS 400 ADMINISTRATOR for permanent employment. This is a fanstastic opportunity for a multinational client. Senior Executive (Infrastructure & Service Delivery)   Job Duties: Administration and providing support for AS/400 environment. Responsible for LPAR provisioning, OS version upgrades, MQ support and ptf's. Monitoring and maintenance of AS/400 data backup & restore. Provide system performance monitoring and tuning services. Prepare recommendations for hardware and software upgrades or system changes. Maintain and updates systems specifications, configurations and documentations. Perform user administrative support and routine IT housekeeping services. Responsible for the implementation and disaster recovery strategies. Familiar with regulatory requirements for critical system recovery. Min 6 years’ working experience with ISeries system administration. Good knowledge and operation of AS/400 system and infrastructure. Familiar with IBM’s BRMS, MQ and System i management via HMC. Disaster Recovery replication software administration. Experience with 6.1 or higher OS versions. Strong customer service, interpersonal skills and ability to lead a small team.   Qualifications: Min 6 years’ working experience with ISeries system administration.
