View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/oO01zp Job Description: We are a newly launched private equity firm, focused on making investments in infrastructure assets in India. The fund is in the capital raising stage and is looking for an entrepreneurial individual with investing/PE experience to join the team as a Partner. This is not an immediate opportunity. Along with other partners who are employed at various firms, the individual is expected to work on this opportunity part-time till the team is in a position to leave current employers. Significant progress has been made by the 2 partners currently involved, including sector analysis and fund strategy determination, identification of potential India team members and institutions who can be potential partners. Partners are based in New York and bring together experience in investment banking, fund raising and infrastructure space. This is an exciting, entreprenuerial opportunity with high potential upside and the incoming partner is expected to bring in PE experience but be prepared to assist in all activities in early-stage fund cycle including crafting of marketing materials. The immediate focus of the fund is to get on board an investor who will make a seed investment in the fund to enable kick-off of formal fund raising. The target is to be in a position to focus on this opportunity full-time from Q1, 2012. This opportunity involves relocation to India in Q3, 2012. The period of relocation will be a minimum of 3 years, until fund is invested, with the option to be based in India permanently. JOB REQUIREMENTS 6-10 years of experience in Private Equity a must Interest in and willingness to become knowledgeable about Infrastructure Strong financial modeling and analysis experience. Preference to individuals who are willing to relocate to India Must be able to maintain confidentiality."
