Short-cut URL to review job: http://tinyurl.com/3hlf8af Please review all of our national and international jobs at www.7SolutionsUSA.com General Comments Summary of Primary Duties: Provides financial guidance and assistance to the plant and business unit management; develops and maintains procedures for the financial control of all plant assets, revenues, and operating revenues; develops plant overhead rates and annual operating plan; is responsible for the accuracy of the plant’s accounting methods, accounting records, and financial reports. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Establishes procedures to ensure sound financial control of plant assets, and reviews and upgrades cost and general accounting activities to ensure that all systems are properly developed and maintained to meet business unit financial reporting timetables; 2. Coordinates the preparation of the plant’s annual operating plan; 3. Supervises the preparation and interpretation of plan financial statements; directs the preparation of interpretative financial analysis of plant operations; analyze and counsels the Plant Manager on variance from the annual plan; 4. Analyzes and calculates plant overhead rates; 6. Support the annual physical inventory and prepare reconciliation to SAP & G/L inventory accounts; 7. Recruits, trains, and develops plant financial personnel; 8. Insures that the plant’s accounting and reporting follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; (GAAP) and procedures; 9. Provides financial information to management and other personnel outside the plant. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, an MBA or CPA desirable; 2. 3-5 years experience in cost accounting and budgeting in a manufacturing environment; 3. Proven supervisory experience; 4. Knowledge of GAAP and other industry standards relating to accounting policies and procedures; 5. Ability to interpret and explain complex financial data to the organization; 6. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to communicate across various levels of the organization; 7. Proficient knowledge of Excel, problem solving and analytical skills required."
