Short-cut URL to review job: http://tinyurl.com/5racvtn Please review all of our national and international jobs at www.7SolutionsUSA.com General Comments Global fortune 200 Manufacturer of Medical Diagnostic Instrumentation seeks a Sourcing Manager for their expanding business in the Baltimore area. • Individual will be responsible for sourcing instrumentation components such as precision machined parts, injection molded components, enclosures, electro-mechanical parts, and other types of miscellaneous components. • Through the management of cross-functional teams, consisting generally of internal customers, the Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for driving the creation of a formal sourcing strategy for review and approval by key stakeholders and Purchasing Management. • The sphere of influence can extend to peers, team members, manufacturing sites, corporate functions and key stakeholders to engage their support for strategy approval and implementation. • The Strategic Sourcing Manager insures delivery against savings targets at required quality levels and will interface with suppliers accordingly. REQUIREMENTS: • We require a minimum of five to seven years of procurement experience, with minimum three years of strategic sourcing preferred. • Prior experience with having sourced various types of components is essential, experience with Asia and Low Cost Countries preferred. • Excellent communication skills required. • Bachelor’s degree a must."
