"SQL_Oracle DBA Scope of Work/Deliverables Expected: Provide support to warrant a solid, stable, integrated database environment for development, quality assurance and production operating models. This includes ensuring the data integrity, availability, recoverability and security for SQL Server and Oracle databases with a large user base. Responsibilities will also include database implementation and post activation support for all enterprise wide database applications. Provide support and documentation for database maintenance, performance and tuning, backup and disaster recovery, system monitoring, and resource management. Skill Sets Required: Excellent knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle backup and recovery scenarios. Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage. Ability to perform both SQL Server and Oracle performance monitoring and database tuning for optimal performance Implements and enforces security for all of the SQL Server and Oracle Databases. Ability to install SQL Server and Oracle and its tools along with any other tools that access these databases. A good knowledge of the way SQL Server and Oracle enforces data integrity Be able to provide a strategic database direction for the organization. Reporting and SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services Experience with SQL Log Shipping Experience with SQL Replication setup and performance monitoring. Experience with writing Transact SQL queries Experience with writing Transact PL/SQL queries Skill Sets Preferred: Knowledge of Windows 2008 R2 OS Knowledge of supporting Virtual Environment Knowledge of SQL Mirroring Knowledge of SQL Clustering"
