Under the Founder’s leadership, the Company has experienced exponential growth and has more than doubled in size over the past three years, with annual sales of approximately $70 MM. However, the Founder will now be focusing his attention on future acquisition targets and is seeking to hire a seasoned CEO to fill a critical 5-7 year term with the Company. In keeping with the organization’s long-term succession plan, the new CEO will play a pivotal role in further developing the executive management team while also establishing the businesses’ global footprint and expanding sales in targeted market segments. The primary objective of this position is to grow the business to $250 MM within 5-7 years by expanding the Company’s manufacturing footprint in Brazil, China, India, Turkey and the United States. Additionally, this role will be responsible for devising a set of systems, controls and disciplines which will allow the Company to continue to grow rapidly, profitably and within control parameters. This position requires an entrepreneurial, visionary leader who is capable of translating that vision into specific plans, goals, and objectives for the company. This person will be savvy, cultured, creative, articulate, dynamic, and results-oriented. He/she will have responsibility for the growth of this business and the people who make it successful. The ability to think strategically while mentoring subordinates is a critical aspect to the position. Only candidates of the highest work and moral ethics will be considered. Additional qualifications, skills & abilities include: ~ Demonstrated capacity to lead a manufacturing organization from $70 MM to $250 MM in annual sales within a 5-7 year time frame. Previous experience with a privately held, independent company or a division of a large public company that is respected for its corporate governance and ethical standards. ~ Engineering degree preferred with an MBA from a top tier school in India, Europe or USA. ~ At least 30+ years of experience and a high energy level. ~ Global and multi cultural outlook is essential. ~ Willingness to live in India and travel around the world as necessary. ~ Progressive career path through marketing, finance or operations. If marketing then should have adequate exposure to finance and operations and vice-versa. ~ Must be willing to commit to a 5-7 year time frame, hand over the management to the next generation and assume the title of Vice Chairman (Executive or non executive).
