"THE POSITION: The primary responsibility of the Import Clearance Officer is to manage the day to day in-bound shipping process. • Cooperate principally with customer service in NME Dubai. • Handle and coordinate all incoming legalized documents for handover to the clearing agent to start the clearance process. • Coordinate ministry permit application process; ministry of agriculture / fisheries and veterinary. • Coordinate incoming consignment clearance process. • Nido Stock Rotation through the Public Authority Warehousing. • Involve in the direct orders placement and orders ex Jebel Ali. • Maintain updates to In-bound sailing schedules. • Provide third party warehouse with the weekly/monthly -expected arrivals. • Prepare Order Tracking (Variances) report. • Report short expiry at the time of receipt to Nestle Dubai. • Reconcile SSM Monthly and submit to Dubai for all on hand stocks and in –transit. • Communication : - Internally with Colleagues within the department, Finance Department, Sales Department. - External with 3rd party distribution, clearing agent, Public Authority, Port. Reports to: Customer Service and Distribution Manager THE CANDIDATE: • SAUDI NATIONAL - 3-5 years experience in a similar position. Previous experience in the FMCG industry is a plus. • Diploma in Business Administration. • Knowledge / Experience in Saudi clearance rules and regulation. • Capable to work under stress - Problem solving and follow-up skills. • High level of commitment and persistency - Proactive - Dynamic, self motivator, Leadership skills. • Analytical and planning skills - Previous experience in leading and motivating a well structured team. • Excellent communication and reporting skills:  Able to self-express - Communicate easily.  Manage an excellent communication with customers and major accounts.  Communication with management.  Report problems (reactive). • Language required for this position: Arabic and English. • Two business references are required. At least one is less than 5 years old. Can only be direct colleague, line manager, client or partner with whom an interaction of at least 6 months has been achieved.
