We are a Global Automotive Aftermarket Manufacturer / Remanufacturer and a leader in our industry. Job Overview • Responsible for the overall quality of our remanufactured products including product quality, quality processes, quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a very hands-on position that requires an overall knowledge of the manufacturing process. • Direct communication with customers and suppliers. • Fast paced environment. • Reports to the VP of Operations. Requirements •Must have automotive aftermarket remanufacturing experience as a Quality Manager preferably in the remanufacturing of motors or closely related products •BSME, BSEE, or closely related •Must have at least 8 years experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory level, preferably from an automotive aftermarket industry •Knowledge in total quality management techniques, supply chain management, ISO-9001 and TS 16949, automotive manufacturing and supplier experience •SPC, DOE, QFD, 6 Sigma, Lean manufacturing trained and be familiar with team building and problem solving training programs •Lead QRS, MRP, NC Return and Customer Return process •Bench marketing and customer data analysis activities to ensure a customer focus and customer satisfaction emphasis is present •Direct the creation of strategic metrics and develops a procedure to ensure that they are regularly reviewed and analyzed and corrective action is implemented •Supervise the development of all quality-training programs that are designed to foster continuous improvement •Responsible and accountable for Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs Location No state income tax in Tennessee!"
