View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/nu5Oc6 Job Description Responsibilities: •Technical evangelist for HTC devices •Interface between HTC and wireless carrier engineering and marketing teams. •Ability to develop long-term relationships with these same customer teams •Able to understand, articulate, manage and respond to customer’s detailed technical issues •Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional teams at HTC headquarters and in the North America offices to assure the successful development and execution of product acceptance. •Manage and provide strategic guidance to a geographically dispersed regional team of community managers •Work with regional PR leadership team and carrier team to develop regionally and globally relevant responses to HTC technical issues. •Create best practices and knowledge-sharing exercises for new products going forward. •Other duties assigned accordingly. Qualifications: •Knowledge of call processing flows in CDMA, WCDMA and/or GSM networks. •Good knowledge of wireless networking and CDMA/GSM/UMTS technology. •Knowledgeable with Android and MSFT Mobile operating systems •Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) •Problem solving based on data gathering, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, understanding of conflicting priorities and perspectives. •Ability to accommodate flexible work hours within an international business environment. •B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience required. •Minimal travel required (<10%)"
