Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Associate Director Data Integration and Logistics in Ridgefield, CT - please send resumes to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com Dan Wienczkowski, ACIR, CIR, CDR, CSSR, PRC posted a job: Associate Director Data Integration and Logistics in Ridgefield, CT - please send resumes to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com "Responsibilities: - Lead a global team of IS professionals and be accountable for leading and strategically developing the global IS Research Services organization for Data Integration & Logistics Services. - Responsible for cost efficient, global Business Service development and service life-cycle management in the area of Data Integration & Logistics Services, and assumes accountability for right sourcing and competitiveness of the developed services. - Accountable for maintenance, 3rd level support, optimization, innovation and cost control of the global Data Logistics & Integration services during their life-cycles. - Responsible for managing the annual, global IS budget allocation to the global Data Integration & Logistics Services organization, and accountable for the overall conformance to expectations of pertinent systems and services. - Plan, support and coach the development of individual’s skills so that they fulfill current/future job responsibilities more effectively. - Provide timely feedback, information, support and resources to help others develop or enable them to solve problems. - Accountable to initiate and/or support efficient, global IS internal collaboration between teams. - Develop and maintain solid working relationships with IS Business Partners Research and other IS counterparts on a global level. - Make decisions regarding project strategy, technical requirements, budgets, and resource needs based on quickly evolving business priorities/objectives. Requirements: - Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Scientific discipline, with 10-14 years of experience; or a Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Scientific discipline, with 10+ (Masters) or 6+ (PhD) years of experience, or relevant and equivalent Scientific or IS experience. Must have a solid understanding of data integration and logistics processes and supporting technologies. - Demonstrated leadership abilities and management skills, and experience leading a diverse team of IS professionals and delivering the anticipated results. Previous experience managing a diverse staff, various resources, business priorities and multiple IS projects within Research. Demonstrated ability to delegate in order to maximize the effectiveness of the organization and members of the team. - Demonstrated IS Project Management ability through the successful completion of large and/or complex (multi-site or international) application development projects. Must possess a solid foundation in , and a clear understanding and appreciation of system design, development, and implementation methodologies, and all phases of the development project implementation lifecycle. - Must have proven and solid analytical skills to understand current Research processes, related IS standards and technology trends, climate and challenges. Lead staff in process reengineering initiatives, and collaborate with various internal and external individuals or teams to deliver technology driven business solutions to enable the client to meet business objectives, and overcome diverse social, political, environmental and regulatory challenges. - Broad IS and scientific experience, and demonstrated knowledge of the critical issues associated with directing and managing multiple IS functions (including both applications and technical support groups), a multitude of competing and changing priorities, and various processes and mandates that impact a timely delivery of agreed upon solutions.
