They provide certifications enabling clients to demonstrate regulatory compliance with the appropriate medical device regulations, as well as improve quality management systems and processes. An exciting opportunity for an Auditing or QA Medical Device professional to work with an inspection and certification industry leader. This is a salaried, home base role with extensive travel and opportunities for growth within the company. Tailored auditing training will be provided for more junior applicants. Job Description Home base role with client site travel (ideally living close to a major airport hub). The Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, you would be responsible for: Performing 3rd party audits per company’s procedures and the requirements of the applicable standard and ISO 13485. Collecting and analyzing sufficient information to provide a recommendation for certification and deciding, upon evidence gained, whether or not registration should be recommended or allowed to continue. Traveling and working on-site at different locations based on client needs - you must be flexible and open to extensive travel Assisting in the training of other auditors during planned audits or other training opportunities. Job Qualifications The Requirements: B.A. Degree in Engineering or the Sciences a plus. 2 - 5 + years of experience in a QA or auditing role within a Medical Device environment. Competent working knowledge of nationally recognized Quality auditing standards and procedures. Ability to travel and located within close proximity to an airport. Medical Device Auditor - Inspection and Certification Industry Strong communication and presentation skills coupled with integrity, tact, and character.
