Role Leading company in the Qatar is looking for an IT Platform Services Engineer to drive software service platform development within the business. The only candidates who will be considered for this role will have all of the following. Support Platform pre-release and release-delivery activities with direct contact with Architects and Support teams. Ability to diagnose various Platforms related issues keep a high degree of documentation and communication with release managers. Provide quality assurance validation and verification of Change and Release Management processes Delivery specification must comply with corporate frameworks and standards being used ITIL and CMMI Essential Skills and exp – please read all skills 1. Working in a large scale enterprise environments, ideally a company like IBM, EDS, Accenture Capgemini, Atos Origin or Logica (The client will not take anyone from Mahindra, Wipro or Tata. 2. 10+ years in IT services or related service-based organisation 3. Linux RHEL 5.x, 6.x and Linux Clustering. RHCE will have a high preference. 4. Symantec NetBackup 6.x, 7.x and DNS Architecture 5. Experience working with HP Openview 6. HP Storage, HP Blade Hardware and SAN Fabrics 7. Qualified or extensive working experience in an ITIL CMMI environment.
