Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Electrical Engineer- Power Supply Camarillo, CA David Cohen posted a job: Electrical Engineer- Power Supply Camarillo, CA "Electrical Engineer- Power Supply Camarillo, CA Temp-Hire or Permanent Responsible for designing AC-DC and DC-DC switching power supplies, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic schematic details for power supply applications. As the Electrical Engineer on projects, will participate in the project definition and organization while working closely with the Mechanical Designer and Program Manager. Reviews customer specifications for proposals. MAJOR DUTIES OF POSITION: • Design electronics for control of conducted and radiated EMI • Develops electronic design to meet government defense standards such MIL-STD or other environmental requirements. • Evaluates electronic components for power supply applications. • Generates the electronic schematic and component BOM package to support the design. • Review customer supplied specifications from an electrical, thermal and reliability standpoint. • Participate and present information in design reviews to AMC personnel and customers • Provide administrative reporting as required. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent training/experience. • At least five years of experience developing and implementing AC-DC and DC-DC switching power supply topologies. • Practical knowledge of electronic packaging standards. • Knowledge of military specifications including harsh environments and EMI as applicable. • Direct experience with the following or similar technologies: Windows XP?, Microsoft Word?, Excel, Project, SPICE, Pcad or Protel. • Strong oral communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly with design team members, present design reviews to supervisors and customers • Strong written communication skills for dealing with documentation and technical disciplines.
