Work on new features as well as on modification and maintenance of existing features. Responsibilities: Design & implement high performance network protocols and middleware components. Interact with other team members to review the design and fit with other components on the system. Code mainly using C & C++ on the Linux operating system. Ability to debug and solve issues quickly and independently using Linux tools. Analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize to achieve world class performance. Innovate technical solutions to improve the product competiveness. Requirements: YOU MUST BREATH LINUX! Extensive work at the Kernel level and in the TCP/IP Stack!! Strong working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, BSD Sockets, Data Structures & Algorithms Experience in full-cycle application development processes is required, from requirements gathering to production Hands on experience with design and implementation of network protocols using FSM and Asynchronous I/O techniques is a plus. Experience with Linux kernel development is a plus. Proven success designing and implementing complex, high-performance, scalable network applications and components is a plus. 4+ years of experience developing C & C++ Linux applications.
