Also please let me know the best time/ number to reach you over the phone to discuss it further. * Interview process will be phone screening followed by onsite (skype if need be). * **Candidates must be able to pass and wait 3-4 weeks for background to go through once submitted.** ***Candidates must have the listed years of experience.*** Job Description: • The candidate will provide support to the Social Security Administration in the areas of analysis, design, and technical documentation of various applications under the direction of the Project Management. • The Senior Systems Analyst shall have extensive experience in Systems analysis, Systems design, UML based design for web applications and Web Services. • Has prime accountability for major projects and will develop detailed and robust requirements, systems design and related documentation. • Shall also possess strong oral and written communications skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues, reports, and other deliverables to SSA counterparts. Skills: Required - · Proficient in defining system documentation requirements based on input from technical personnel. · Solid OOD/OOP foundation with experience in UML diagramming and design documentation. · Knowledge of creating and maintaining Data Flow Diagrams and developing Use Cases · Strong Experience in defining Web Service Requirements. · Strong communication and technical writing skills. · Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents. · Database experience such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL and JDBC. · Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively; strong and proven problem solving. · Self-managed with the ability to mentor others. · Familiarity with project management frameworks. · Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI Level 3 Methodologies Desired - · Self starter, highly motivated individual, and a team player who adapts to a dynamic work environment. · Ability to investigate/research issues, determines impact, and provide solutions. · Familiar with Web Service technologies such as Apache Axis, SOAP and WSDL. · Familiar with Rational Unified Process, CMM/CMMI. Education and Certifications: · Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. · 11+ years or more of professional experience."
