"Title: Engineer, Water Systems Location, Bedford, OH Responsibilities: - Responsible for operation and maintenance of the Pharmaceutical Water systems to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, and meet production volume needs. - Coordinate all communication with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Production regarding operations, quality and availability of water. - Identify, develop and provide hands-on troubleshooting/repair and implementation of all preventive, proactive, and predictive maintenance to support the reliability, efficiency, and quality of facility water systems and equipment. - Responsible for all maintenance, planning, documentation/logs, scheduling, shutdowns and parts availability. Maintains work history of all water systems related equipment, utilizing the computerized maintenance management system for creating and documenting orders for all required work, whether performed internally or by contractors. - Required to keep current on latest technology in the field, as well as identify, develop and implement training for maintenance personnel and end users of water systems, ensuring developmental training and adherence to SOPs. - Performs all duties within established guidelines and policies of cGMP, and follows all corporate and local internal requirements of budget management, finance, EHS, as well as all governing and regulatory agencies. - Identify, recommend and implement process improvements to the water system equipment and processes, including coordinating support and direct involvement from management and other appropriate personnel, both internal and external. - Utilize technical skills and experience to support other production and ancillary processes, as required, to ensure reliability and productivity of facility. - Provide leadership support to department supervisor, as needed, and acts as mentor to facilities maintenance staff. Represent company as Subject Matter Expert (SME) during regulatory/customer audits and inspections. Requirements: - Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline, chemical or mechanical engineering preferred. (OR an Associates Degree in Engineering coupled with a minimum of 7 years experience.) - Minimum 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry working with high purity water and steam systems. - Work history must include mechanical and electrical/electronic aspects of RO, DI, WFI, Clean Steam systems and associated processes and equipment. - Strong computer skills required. - Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products - Excellent mechanical aptitude, analytical skills with ability to accurately follow procedures in a cGMP environment. - Strong communication skills, both oral and written coupled with ability to work with personnel across all levels of the organization. - Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to efficiently plan, organize and prioritize activities in a fast paced work environment Please email your resume to - dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com"
