Job Description:
Candidate will report to the Enterprise IT Program Management Office. 
Will be responsible for the overall project plan review, coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts associated with the implementation of a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system enterprise-wide.
Must have significant leadership experience with large EMR implementations in a multi-hospital system.
Preference will be given to candidates who have managed EMR implementation projects using Allscripts, Epic and/or Cerner applications/vendors.
 Must be able to work with, manage and direct large groups of analysts and various workgroups associated with EMR implementation.
Candidate must be familiar with project management methodologies and processes and will be responsible for tracking EMR project plans, key milestones, tasks, risks and schedule.   
Individual will be responsible for overseeing, tracking and monitoring  all EMR project plan phases including planning, design, building, testing, training, and communications throughout the Corporation. 
Project Manager must be able to manage work breakdown schedules, scope management, as well as all internal and external resources affiliated with EMR projects.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, organized and analytic. Must be able to work with all levels of staff associated with the project including but not limited to analysts, hospital and central office staff, medical staff and vendor project staff.
Must know and use MicroSoft Project.
Preference will be given to candidate who is PMP certified.
