The Department of Applied Science is one of the four departments within the Faculty, with a diverse portfolio including chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, bioscience, food science and nutrition, sports science and forensic science. You will be the strategic academic leader and business manager of the department, with the necessary authority to deliver, control and develop a range of strategic and operational functions. You will act as line manager for departmental staff and have responsibility for management of departmental budgets and other resources. You will need excellent academic qualifications and a record of achievement in one of the departmental subject areas.
