Position Title: Data Core Engineer Sector: Telecom Company type: Multinational Telecom Company Location: Lahore Salary: 50K to 120K Essential Requirements: -- Recent experience in Telecom Operator/Vendor company or ISP company -- About 5 years (or more) experience -- Experience of Juniper/Cisco and Huawei routers/switches -- Experience of MPLS -- Experience related to managing people The ideal candidate should -- Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecom/Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences -- Have 5-7 years of experience in a IP / Data core environment specially on Juniper and Cisco routers/switches Job Description -- Handle complaint resolution and troubleshooting of data core network (IPMPLS and WIMAX) -- Provide up-to-date knowledge of IP and Communication layers. -- Conduct Analysis of traces on layer 3 and layer 2 (trace route and wireshark) -- Manage fault clearance and analysis on Core Entities for hardware and software trouble shooting. -- Generate statistical reports and conduct analysis for Core Network KPIs and follow-up with peer teams for network optimization -- Follow-up with IP NOC Support for Trouble Ticket Management and providing necessary support for issue resolution Essential Skills -- Have hands on experience on Juniper / Cisco and Huawei routers/switches -- Have Strong IP Networking knowledge -- Have good interpersonal and analytical skills -- Have working knowledge of telecom systems and processes -- Have working knowledge of control development and management -- Be proficient in operating MS Office Suite -- Have basic understanding of GSM Architecture -- Have up-to-date knowledge and analysis of IP, MPLS, SS7, SIP and SIGTRAN. -- Have Advanced IP skills -- Have good understanding of Linux/Unix Platforms Desirable Skills -- Have good reporting and statistical analysis skills Candidate with relevant experience can send there CV at aly.careerpakistan@gmail.com"
