Our client a multi-national and highly respected technology solutions company seeks Eclipse UI & Plug-in Developer. The successful Eclipse UI & Plug-in Developer will have experience of one or more from ( oAW, M2M / M2T, EMF, GEF, GMF, WTP, RCP, SWT, JFace, QVT ). All applicants must have some experience of developing plug-in’s for either the Eclipse IDE or any Java based IDE (i.e. NetBeans). The responsibilities for this Eclipse UI & Plug-in Developer role ( oAW, M2M / M2T, EMF, GEF, GMF, WTP, RCP, SWT, JFace, QVT ) includes: - Eclipse UI Development - Eclipse IDE Plug-in Development. - Developing Plug-in’s for our client’s own IDE. - Specific focus on Eclipse based parts, components and UI’s for BPM products. - Requirements analysis, design implementation, testing and engineering documentation for innovative BPM products and features. Essential for this Eclipse UI & Plug-in Developer role ( oAW, M2M / M2T, EMF, GEF, GMF, WTP, RCP, SWT, JFace, QVT ) is the following: - Eclipse UI Development experience. - Some experience of developing plug-in’s for either the Eclipse IDE or any Java based IDE (i.e. NetBeans).- Eclipse UI Development. - Knowledge of any from: oAW, M2M / M2T, EMF, GEF, GMF, WTP, RCP, SWT, JFace, QVT. - Strong OOD skills using UML. - Java programming experience - Strong software analysis, development and design skills. - Fluency in business English (written and spoken). - Relevant computer related degree or HND. - Must be eligible to work in the EU. Nice to have (but not essential) is any from: - UI design experience with some knowledge of HCI, Usability, ergonomics etc - RDBMS – Oracle and SQL Server.
