Global Executive has been retained to search for a CTIO with strong experience in the Mobile Telecom industry currently working for a Mobile Telco Operator. The CTIO will be responsible for network development and IT Infrastructure strategy in alignment with local business objectives. Leading vendor selection and product procurement the CTIO will have extensive knowledge in multi-vendor environments and demonstrate knowledge on leading technology. Ensuring effective planning & budgeting, deployment, operational performance and maintenance of radio networks, switching systems, VAS systems, RF Transmission systems and fibre network and the information systems functions to satisfy the telecommunications needs of the target subscribers. Manage shared services supporting other operators, outsourced vendors for managed services and other vendors within the tight financial constraints of a small Mobile Operator. Core skills 1. Mobile Telco Networks planning infrastructure roll out 2. Vendor selection, services and infrastructure procurement 3. Network and technology roadmap development and delivery 4. Strategy on Telecom Corporate Governance 5. Network Planning Development and Optimisation and Maintenance 6. VAS and Charging applications and Billing products and services 7. Disaster Recovery planning and Roadmap development 8. Leader in corporate Information Systems Security 9. Management of CAPEX and OPEX budgets plus financial reporting 10. Shared services implementation and synergy 11. Business Risk Management and succession planning Essential Experience 1. Minimum of 15 years working for a Major Telco Operator 2. Strong mobile Telco products and services knowledge 3. 7 years in a CTO / CIO or CTIO position 4.
