"Berean Group is Seeking Data Integration Principal Location: Twin Cities, MN Duration: 6+ months Job type: Contract Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Job Description: • Oversees work on large project initiatives to define scope and data integration architecture, ensuring consistency of design approach. Coordinate with business areas, IT cross-divisional technical resources and external customers regarding system scope, objectives and solutions. • Reviews and approves design specification and perform code reviews. • Create, maintain and enforce the data integration development standards, best practices for design, coding, migration and scheduling • Supports manager with resources and staff assignments, vendor management, interviewing for staff and consultants, and providing performance feedback on employees. • Lead, mentor and coach developers to develop their technical skills. Minimum requirements: • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum of 6 years of related experience developing complex Data Integration/ETL applications using Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange for Teradata, DB2/UDB, or Oracle. • Strong knowledge on data warehousing methodology, data design, data modeling (3 Normal Form and Star Schema) and SQL knowledge for Teradata, DB2/UDB or Oracle. • Experience and working knowledge with mainframe (COBOL, JCL, IMS, mainframe DB2).
