Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: RF Engineer, Murray Hill, NJ Rita Dhanavade posted a job: RF Engineer, Murray Hill, NJ "Berean Group Seeking RF Engineer Location : Murray Hill, NJ Duration : 1 Year Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Job Description : • This RF Macro Engineer position is intended to provide RF Design and Optimization expertise to projects involving venue solutions Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Remote Radio Heads (RRH), Femto/Metro Cells, Light Cube Radio, etc. • This engineer will partner with a team of In-building RF engineers as well as other RF Macro engineers to deliver design, optimization, network performance and capacity improvement services to customer venue solutions. In addition to actual delivery of the services, the engineer will support pre-sales activities providing technical expertise at customer meetings. • These responsibilities cut across multiple wireless technologies including CDMA, UMTS, LTE and WIMAX, as well and most important across different hardware providers, in particular ALU and Ericsson. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Support the Solutions & Marketing as well as Bids & Proposal Teams to develop Scopes of Work and provide cost estimates for customer offers. • Work with the in-building RF engineers, local Macro RF engineers, and program management to develop an integrated delivery plan. • Troubleshoot specific venues to improve traffic balance, data throughput and overall venue network performance. • Monitor specific venue special events and provide real time recommendations for traffic balance, throughput and overall network improvements during the events. • Generate script files necessary for RF optimization. Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge): • The applicant must have at least 5 years of experience working on RF UMTS Design and optimization. • Applicant must have at least 3 years experience with In-Building Design and In-Building Design tools such as IBwave. • Exposure to LTE Design and Optimization a definite plus. • Applicant must possess knowledge and exposure of ALU and Ericsson hardware platforms.
