"Title: Sr. Programmer Analyst Location: Warsaw, IN Responsibilities: - Creates project plans for small to intermediate projects, performing the work (mostly development) defined by the project plan, monitoring progress on all assigned projects, and communicating project process and/or problems to manager on a timely basis. - Stays abreast of relevant technologies and business processes and provides input to the development and implementation of a global IM strategy - Provides consulting services and technical support to many stakeholders. - Minimizes application development requests by appropriately using data and tools to meet client needs - Demonstrates strong skills in communicating technical ideas to non-technical clients as well as peers in IT - Maintains relevant items in data dictionary and user documentation - Provide technical specifications to development partners - Creates and distributes various reports to clients and management using the test system, spreadsheets, and database and graphics applications - Responsible for on-call support of assigned systems. Expected Areas of Competence (KSA's) - Communicates clearly and concisely both verbal and written. Writes technical reports and manuals. - Demonstrates skills in communicating technical ideas to non-technical clients as well as peers in IT. - Stays abreast of relevant technologies and business processes. - Establishes and maintains effective working relationships at all levels. - Facilitates team efforts on projects. - Ability to work within a team oriented environment including the flexibility to adjust hours for proper departmental coverage. - Ability to deliver, meet deadlines and have results orientation. - Team player with time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Requirements: - B.S. degree in computer science or related field - 5+ years of experience developing Web applications (Java) - Strong skills in server side Java and Tomcat - Proficiency in Object Orientation, Design patterns and frameworks (struts, spring) - Programming experience in Html, Java Script, JSP, AJAX, CSS, XML, XSD, MySql), Basic Unix - Must be good with tools like Eclipse, CVS, Hibernate, ANT, Maven etc. - SAP Portal development experience a plus. - Preferably working experience with Alfresco or other content authoring tools.Title: Sr. Programmer Analyst Please send your resume to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com"
