Our client is seeking the skills and experience of an experienced Solution Sales professional with a proven track record in managing key federal government relationships and working within the Canberra market. THE POSITION: As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for maximising revenue from a number of key accounts through the process of identifying, qualifying and executing new business opportunities. You will be accountable for: •Selling infrastructure and applications solutions; •Managing existing and new client relationships; •Sales forecasting and account plan development; •Identifying and managing proposal & tendering process; •Engaging with architects and engineers to provide a solution to clients; •Meeting and exceeding sales targets. •Define local sales strategy and targets for new business. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: Mandatory requirements include: •Proven track record in an BDM/Sales Executive role within the ICT industry, selling infrastructure and/or applications solutions to Federal Government enterprise level clients •Experience in exceeding million dollar sales targets •Strong business acumen •Ability to manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service •Impeccable communication skills •Interpersonal skills: presentation, negotiation and ability to present solutions to a varied audience Selection Criteria: 1.5-7+ years business development & sales experience in ICT solution selling (preferably in Managed Services) 2.Extensive knowledge of the Canberra and established senior contacts within Federal Government accounts and Financial Services/Telco companies 3.Proven track record in managing and meeting multi-million dollar budgets 4.Experience in selling infrastructure enterprise solutions Please note, only applicants that meet the above criteria will be contacted.
