"Location: Cincinnati, OH (Client may consider allowing person to work remote) Visa: USC or Green Card Holder only (EAD/H1B/TN not allowed) Type: Fulltime or Subcontract Duration: Long term Skills: Practical experience in leveraging MLDM components into the LDM (Mandatory) Teradata Manufacturing Logical Data Model (MLDM) is mandatory Mastery exposure to CA ER Data Modeler, Model Mart, and logical & physical modeling concepts Extensive experience translating business and functional requirements into logical data models Understand 3rd normal form logical models and key elements that make up the logical model (entitles, attributes super type, subtypes, cardinality, domains, etc.) Practical experience modeling DW components (Staging area, normalize, and reporting DB (Star schema / data mart)) This includes responsibility for modeling a source system into the DW and participating in the generation of a physical model from the logical Creation of business objects including databases, tables and indexes. Experience with v2r6.2 and v12 & V13 Experience using Teradata TMON to monitor and manage Teradata RDBMS resource utilization (TASM), should have created alert policies for monitoring database space, average disk use, Experience with TASM priority scheduler. Extensive experience with business objects and BI though Data Mining. Extensive Teradata TPUMP V12: Teradata: TTU V. 12 Teradata Parallel Transporter for near real time and eliminates batch window. TDQM Establishing and managing end user security procedures, Rolls and Authorization. Teradata SQL Assist. Teradata Tools and Utilities Job Description Provide data architecture guidance to the development teams regarding data sources, data movement options, and data storage options Work with the application and ETL development teams to define data structure requirements Create the logical data model for the required data structures using client's modeling standards and standard ERWin modeling tools Create and maintain all database objects and scripts in the Development environment using client processes and tools Plan/schedule creation and maintenance of the database objects in the QA and Production environments Maintain the ERWin data models in all environments Support strategic planning for database management Complete all required documents/artifacts as indicated by client's project development methodology Design, creating and tuning physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support normalized and dimensional models.
