The parent company, with headquarters in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has served markets all over Latin America, the United States, China and Eastern Europe since 2003. Clients include Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Goodyear, MARS, Electrolux, Renault and many more in the textile, transportation, food/beverage, mining/metals, life sciences, and cosmetics industries. The Director of Professional Services Sales will be tasked with developing new client accounts and generating new sales in support of specific quarterly and annual revenue objectives.  The successful candidates will have a verifiable, established book of business and proven track record selling value chain or supply chain services and/or solutions to V and C-level executives at Fortune 1000 companies. Additionally, the candidate will be experienced in identifying new opportunities, articulating value propositions associated with cutting-edge consulting services, persuading decision makers to take action and working with a technical pursuit team to close sales. In pursuit of our client’s multi-million dollar revenue generation objectives, the Director of Professional Services Sales will leverage his or her existing contacts, professional relationships and, to a lesser extent, proven cold prospecting techniques. A minimum of 10 years’ experience selling Tier 1 value chain or supply chain consulting services and/or solutions is required for consideration. The Director of Professional Services Sales will report to the VP, Sales and Marketing (North America). Location: Chicago and West of the Mississippi Relocation: Not required our client supports a remote work environment. Travel:  Candidates must be willing and able to travel 50% - 75% of the time. Base Salary: $120,000.00 + 4 weeks paid vacation OTE: $240,000.00 Uncapped Desired Skills & Experience Must have at least ten [10] years of successful value chain or supply chain professional services and/or solutions selling experience at the V & C-levels. Must have an established, active book of executive-level relationships across a variety of industries including, but not limited to, FMCG, High Tech, Life Sciences, Aviation, Apparel, Food and Retail. Must have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual revenue generation objectives (verifiable $2M+ per year). Must have a working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management capabilities and customer considerations across a variety of industry types. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate a good understanding of the consulting industry (professional services); candidate should also possess the ability to effectively articulate the value of services, pricing and service delivery methodologies. Must be a fast learner and be capable of hitting the ground running; our client expects measurable results. Must have strong organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize multiple projects / work streams. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, psychology, supply chain management or related discipline. MBA or MS preferred. Must be skilled in the operation of variety of software programs and productivity tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce.com (or similar SFA / CRM solution).
