This is a contract position with shift work rotation required.   Qualifications:   Strong Microsoft Product technical knowledge with Windows 7 and Office 2010 and experience supporting them is required. Possess and utilize strong ability to provide complex customer service, fixes and support with respect to PC/device repair. Specific examples might include, but are not limited to some of the following: - Performing difficult diagnostic repair on client machines - Analyzing results - Backup and recovery - Research and resolve technical issues - Developing solutions including interfaces, services, utilities or customer requests. - Hot fixes for hardware and peripherals - Implementing solutions - Isolate unique or difficult customer support scenarios or root causes - Ensure accurate technical support, support resource gaps, and identification of support quality improvement opportunities, needs and issues - Understanding of operation support, previous OEM support is a plus - certification on MCDST or MCSE is a plus - Excellent problem solving skills, ability to provide analysis of complex issues - Ability to work effectively with other groups within Microsoft - Ability to come up-to-speed quickly on new technical products - Excellent interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills. Open, confident communicator. - Customer oriented - Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple demands, addressing shifting priorities, and maintaining focus. Internal Posting Details •    Role is based out of Mississauga •    Hours of operation: Mon-Fri:8AM-1AM and Sat/Sun: 12PM-8PM •    57.5 hours/week Description: The candidate must demonstrate outstanding customer service skills. As this position will require regular interaction with consumer customers, it is critical that this person is composed and not intimidated while providing support. Due to round-the-clock need, person must be flexible and ‘on-call’ regularly during non-business hours. Candidate must meet a high level of professionalism and communication with customers.
