"Hiring a Business Systems Analyst in Madison, WI Position: Business Systems Analyst Location: Madison, WI Duration: 7 month contract Description: Assist the manager and team in the design and development or modification of systems, focusing on project leadership and coordination, and business unit contact. Assist business unit to determine impact of project on business unit workflow. Obtain business requirements and define project scope. Partner with client/business unit to evaluate project alternatives and recommend a project solution giving consideration to project return on investment (ROI). Lead projects, including those which impact multiple business units, companies, systems and/or platforms. Research and recommend business solution software. Determine project resource requirements (staffing, hardware, software, etc.). Promote and support team efforts to accomplish all aspects of a projects lifecycle. Promote and ensure system integrity and efficiency for all system solutions. Effectively communicate (written and oral) with focus on target audience. Develop, maintain, and utilize project plans that define project tasks and account for task dependencies. Perform related duties as assigned or requested, and may assume management responsibilities in the absence of the manager. Provide direction and guidance to team members. Analyze and prepare project specifications. Actively coach peers to promote project and corporate success as well as professional and technical development Required Skills: Skills in project leadership, project reporting, cost estimating and analysis.
