Follow us on twitter.com/coberonchronos and facebook.com /coberonchronos Our client – a market leader multinational in the field of financial services – is looking for an experienced Linux/Virtualization engineer Tasks The engineer will work on a large-scale project to virtualize the firm's Linux based systems. Interact with business and infrastructure stakeholders to establish and achieve the success criteria for the virtualization of these systems. Focus is on optimal performance, capacity and scalability. The ideal candidate should have a very strong background in Linux system administration and performance tuning as well as experience with the VMware virtualization stack. In addition, strong understanding of performance engineering concepts, knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques. Strong verbal and written communication. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of being self-directed and able to operate in a highly complex, quickly moving environment with the constant introduction of new technologies Work with stakeholders and customers to enable successful virtualization of Linux systems. Troubleshooting of virtualized Linux systems. Performance management in virtualized Linux environments.
