Duties may also include the execution of installations, patches, upgrades, system tuning, and production support as necessary. This individual is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing Oracle DBA policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of Oracle databases in support of SAP applications. The individual will also be responsible for the management of a small team of DBA’s and the coordination of their activities. Will participate in 24x7 On-call rotation. Qualifications Skill Requirements: 9+ years in an Oracle DBA role is required. Must have expertise and strong Oracle DBA knowledge supporting large SAP databases in a complex, multi-instance, heterogeneous environment. Must have experience with the following Oracle and Oracle/SAP-related technologies: Database 10g, Database 11g, SAP BRTOOLS, IBM TSM/TDP, Netbackup, Data Guard Must be comfortable performing all tasks at the Unix command prompt, without the use of GUIs. Must be competent developing and troubleshooting Unix shell scripts. Must have experience with the following platforms: AIX, Linux Must have excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication and organizational skills.
