"EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Job Description - The Network Test Consulting Engineer position is responsible for customer specific solution testing and integration of the IP Next-Generation networks. This will involve good understand of testing processes, analyzing new test requirements, writing test plans, building test lab configurations, executing and automating test cases, and documenting results. This position is responsible for planning, developing and implementing custom test plans for service provider solutions. This will involve working with the architecture/design team, analyzing new solution requirements, writing test plans, building test lab configurations, executing and automating test cases, and documenting results. You will interface with all facets of solution architecture/design team, development engineering and test engineering and identify key gaps for end-to-end solution Integration and testing. Research and develop new methods to automate solution testing. * Work is reviewed and measured based on attainment of overall objectives of department. * Coordinates and executes plans independently. * Recommends and ensures proper technical alternatives have been selected and implemented. Required skills: • Prefer to have CRS GSR/ESR, XR, 7600, 6500, 7200, Nexus in-depth product experience. • Strongly prefer to have IOS-XR experience. * 2+ years experience with 7600 and ASR1K * 2+ years experience in configuration of Cisco products (security, routing, switching, network management) * 4+ years experience of: IP Internetworking, LAN Switching, MPLS technologies, WAN Expertise & Voice technologies. Inter-network troubleshooting experience. * 3+ years Network Design Experience, medium to large-scale network design skills. * 3+ years experience with core IP/MPLS is critical, in addition to overall telecommunications and voice knowledge. * Has good written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
