Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Software Engineer (Sterling Architectural design)-Rochester, NY Sheela sood posted a job: Software Engineer (Sterling Architectural design)-Rochester, NY "Berean Group seeking Software Engineer (Sterling Architectural design) Location: Rochester, NY Duration: 3 Months Job type: Contract Must be US Citizen or Green card holder Job Description: • Sterling CRM is web-based order entry system built on a proprietary Sterling Commerce supplied, highly customized, Model-View-Controller framework operating in an Open Source Apache Tomcat J2EE container executing on a standard Linux platform. • Position has responsibility for designing and building a solution in Sterling V9.1 to support commercial and complex ordering in Sterling using non Sterling specific tools. • Guided by the business support group, the candidate will work to create the product catalog to support business order processing. • Experience in some or all of the following technologies is desirable: Java, J2EE (EJB, JNDI, JDBC), JAX-RPC, JAXB, JBOSSWS, Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XML, Annotations, Ant (preferred). • The candidate would work with the application developers to design and implement a solution in a way that would support immediate requirements are met as well as putting in place a framework for future build outs. • Exposure to project life-cycle methodologies including requirements, design, building, testing and implementing phases to meet due dates would be necessary. • Initiate process improvement efforts Required Experience: • 7 years of Sterling Architectural design and application work is necessary • Experience developing web based applications with Oracle databases. • General knowledge of telecommunications industry is required • Strong telecommunication business knowledge.
