"Pricing Strategy Manager will be responsible for owning the pricing strategy of all products and services for North America. The Pricing Strategy Manager will be responsible for the pricing of all products and services, market analysis, margin analysis, custom pricing requests and RFPs for our small & medium businesses, corporate accounts, strategic accounts, and channel sales groups The company is a global provider of communications services. Responsibilities: • Uphold strategic pricing initiatives by translating goals into effective pricing plans that can be successfully implemented in the marketplace to drive additional revenue • Closely monitor and analyze competition pricing to establish the company as a competitive player within the communications services market • Continuously evaluate and improve pricing based on customer requests, sales needs and market research • Provide financial review and recommendations to Executive Management for large bids and RFPs as well as authorize all special pricing approvals for individual deals and request-for-proposals • Consult with counterparts in Europe and Asia to ensure consistent pricing offers for North American global customers Align with Product Marketing and Product Management to ensure timely release of pricing for new products and services • Work with Finance to ensure optimized margins for our products & services • Own the release of all pricing guides with input from marketing, sales, sales operations and finance • Communicate the pricing of the products and services to the sales teams and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of the products • Coordinate product-level goals and support ongoing product development and lifecycle management as it relates to pricing Requirements: • 2+ years of experience as a Pricing Manager in a fast paced environment • Strong track record of defining pricing for products & services within the Telecommunications, IT or Software sector Capacity to understand/compute costs structure is a must • BA/BS or equivalent required, MBA desirable Strong Excel and Business Object Skills • Experience in designing and developing compelling pricing strategies • Experience in implementing new pricing strategies with multiple stakeholders and departments involved • Solid attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and peers that are not under direct control • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated, results-driven with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency • Team Player a must Self Starter and “hands-on” type of mentality Please send resume to rusty@almongroup.com"
